THE 2015 ANNUAL CORNED BEEF SANDWICH SALE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

Thanks to everyone who worked and everyone who participated by having lunch with us.

We appreciate your support this year and EVERY year.

This event is one terrific operation; it is a well-oiled machine; the preparation has been honed down to a near-perfect systematic operation that any major corporation would envy. Congratulations to the Temple Sisterhood for another job well done! Reports reflect that through the years, thousands of dollars have been raised in support of Temple activities and projects.

First, good chairman have been the hallmark for the 30 plus years of Corned Beef sales. Chairman Nat Marks and her Steering Committee including Vicky Bergman, Pam Rubin, Mimi Kirzner and Jacque Caplan deserve our sincere thanks again this year for their terrific leadership, which includes the remarkable feat of encouraging almost every member to get involved. So many members sold tickets to a community that was eagerly awaiting the event. The workdays for the preparation of the lunches provided a sight to behold: the parking lot was full of members' cars, and Hinchin Hall, the Task Garden Room and the kitchen were filled to capacity with working members, tables, lunch boxes, jars of pickles, boxes of mustard packets, corned beef, rye, cole slaw and mints. On Corned Beef Day, other members came to do their part in making deliveries, manning the ticket and delivery doors and helping out dine-in customers enjoy their lunch. Our staff came through as they do, again and again, in setting up, storing of the foods, cleaning up, answering all questions, selling more tickets, and coordinating everything at the Temple. Thanks so much, Nadine, Cleveland and Fran, and every one who helped achieve another remarkable success.

                                  -Marilyn
