We encourage you to donate to your Temple.

Remember, you can make a donation to the Temple at any time.  This is a great way to show how much you love or appreciate someone or to remember the memory of someone.  Please designate the fund you want the donation to go to and we will publish donations in the first bulletin of each month. The main funds are:

 

GENERAL FUND

All-purpose fund used wherever funds are needed most to maintain our congregation

 

CEMETERY FUND

Cleaning, care and maintenance of the cemetery

RELIGIOUS SCHOOL FUND

For Religious School supplies and events

 

EDUCATION/CEREMONIAL FUND

For adult education and items needed for worship and ceremonial needs at Temple

 

MUSIC FUND

Funds special music at services, holidays and community musical programs

 

RABBI DISCRETIONARY FUND

Discretionary Funds are used by the Rabbi to subsidize important services and activities at Temple and is used for acts of confidential tzedakah to meet human needs within the temple family and surrounding community.

 

ENDOWMENT FUND

Invest in the future of our Temple with your gifts now, or through estate planning. This is a special investment fund that honors people who donate a significant amount to the Temple.  We honor them at a service each year in the spring. If the Temple is named as a beneficiary in your will, your name will be added to our wall of Legacy Givers - "The Will to Give." TREE OF LIFE

You can also purchase a leaf on our Tree of Life, located in the foyer, to honor family and friends. BIRTHDAYS-BAT/BAR MITZVAHS-ANNIVERSARIES-BABY NAMINGS-SPECIAL LIFE EVENTS. The cost of adding a leaf to the tree is $150.00 and can be given by one or more people. Contact: Kim Bindursky or secretary@jewishtemple.org for more information.

MEMORIAL PLAQUES

In our Turner Street foyer, there are Memorial plaques that commemorate the life of a loved one.  A light is lit by the plaque on the anniversary of the person's death each year.  If you are interested in purchasing a Memorial plaque, please contact secretary@jewishtemple.org
